From the moment you enter The Peacock Restaurant at Finnstown Country House Hotel, you know you are in for a treat. By day, sunlight streams through windows of the restaurant which overlooks the majestic grounds, then, as night falls, the classic, Georgian style restaurant adopts a more intimate mood.
Whatever time you visit, you can be sure of a personal welcome and a fabulous meal - the restaurant has a well-earned reputation for exquisite food and service, boasting an AA Rosette among its many awards for culinary excellence.
Interestingly, in Roman and Medieval times, the peacock was considered a delicacy – however, while Finnstown Country House Hotel in Lucan, Co. Dublin, is renowned for serving fresh, local produce, its’ peafowl are purely ornamental! Menu choices reflect the flair and creativity in the kitchen, offering a wide selection of mouth-watering traditional and international dishes, complimented by an extensive wine list.

Sunday Lunch sittings at 1pm, 3.30pm & 6pm in The Dining Room.
